Summary: This was the first Christopher Hollyman, the grandfather of Christopher Holyman (1618-1691) who migrated to Virginia in 1650 from Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. Christopher was from Cuddington, married Margaret Lee of Dinton and moved to Sherington where he probably died and is suspected buried in the local church yard. Sometimes his will is listed as 1589. He died in the year of the Spanish Armada and was a member of the royalist Queen's Guards. It is not known how he died.
