Summary: Pre internet family research suggested American Holliman families (various spellings) came from Tring, England, one John Hollyman. While in Tring, the writer visited the local history section of the town library and discovered information on a Holyman farm in nearby Cuddington. Off my wife and I went and after years of discovery traced Christopher Hollyman (1618-1691) of Bedfordshire and Virginia ancestors back to Cuddington, Haddenham and High Wycomb. Four photos from Tring and that break through visit.
